Synopsis: Lizzie meets up with the woman adopting the foster dog she has been caring for and tries to wrangle in a volunteer along the way.
Finding homes for companion animals is always a joint adventure and creating a web series about it is the same! Forever Home was pleased to work with Wespaw Pets and Muddy Paws Rescue on our first episode!
Sam Abdrabouh, owner of Wespaw Pets located in Sunnyside, Queens, NY, for years has opened his doors to rescue groups and their adoption events. He was kind enough to let us use his store for our scene where Sophie meets her new Mom.
Sophie almost didn't make it in the web series. There were two other dogs chosen first, Winnie and Meatball, but luckily they both got adopted the day before shooting the scene! Several volunteers worked tirelessly to find a replacement for the role and connected with Sophie through Muddy Paws Rescue.
